Your Rights at Work
From the age of 15, many young people decide to get casual or part time work. Teenage workers are often vulnerable to exploitation - hopefully, the information on this page will help empower you to know more about your rights and what to do if you are concerned about how you and/or your friends are being treated.
* If you’re under 15 you may be allowed to work, but your employer needs a child employment permit from the Victorian Government before you can start. For more information visit Youth Central or call Business Victoria on 1800 287 287 *
